Helina was acting as an excellent hostess, not only cooling super well but also demonstraing a deep knowledge about the catalan and spanish culture , explaining a lot of details about local gastronomy, animating the team to participate and achieven a very nice and relaxed environment..many thanks!

WOW Amazing class, definitely exceeded all expectations! We started with a very interesting market tour, got to try and buy the best of the best local ingredients!! Then moved to the cooking studio, which is so stylish and clean, a beautiful place with antique stone walls and Catalan design! The class itself is very hands-on and entertaining! Helina makes everyone involved, and it’s so fun to participate! We cooked in HUGE paella pan, I’ve never seen such before!! The food turned out incredible, the best paella ever! And plenty of wine too! Highly recommend to anyone!

At the market we were shown and tasted some lovely local food such as olives, truffle oil, ham and seafood. The venue for the cooking class was superb, so pretty and comfortable. Helena made the experience super fun the whole time and everyone got a go helping out with parts of the GIANT paella. We were a group of 7 Australians and joined in with some others mainly from USA. We also learnt a classic tomato bread dish that we have already made a few times. Lots of cava and sangria was shared. When people ask for the highlight of my Europe trip I say this day. We also were sent recipes as well as some Barcelona recos after the class.

This tour is one of my favorites! Helina wants you to have a memorable experience. She is knowledgeable and personable. She taught our group a lot about Barcelona, Spain and cooking. We had a great time and would do it again.
