El Bruc, a small picturesque town located on the southern slope of the mountain, with a 10-minute stop to enjoy the panoramic views and the special morphology of its peaks. We will pass by the statue / monument dedicated to the "Timbaler" (hero of the resistance to Napoleon)

Santa Cecilia de Montserrat and Sean Scully Art Space

Convent / Monastery of the S. XI. Once we have crossed to the north slope we arrive at the small Romanesque style monastery where we will appreciate its magnificent architecture and there will be the possibility (walking 5 minutes) to appreciate the views of Sant Benet and all of the valley with the Pyrenees in the background.

"Private Half Day Tour in Monserrat with Driver" was a wonderful experience. James is an excellent tour guide, professional, courteous, with a wealth of knowledge on the history of Barcelona and Montserrat. He thoughtfully asked us what we wanted to get out of our tour, and made sure we were satisfied. We heard the famous Boy Choir (L'Escolania) and the Black Madonna - and the views! Wow! Only regret is we didn't have more time when in Barcelona, or we would have made this a longer tour, to explore more & hike around Montserrat. Highly recommend!

Easy, Fun Tour

James was wonderful. He had the tour very well planned, his explanation of what we were seeing on our way to Montserrat, as well as when we got there was interesting and informative. We had about 75 minutes to tour on our own which was the perfect amount of time. He offered to drop us off for lunch and took us to a great tapas bar full of locals. One of the best meals we had in Barcelona and we wouldn’t have known about if not for James. Highly recommend this tour!
